Privacy
The short version: it stays between your phones.
Outplay is a local multiplayer game. It connects nearby devices over your Wi-Fi network or directly phone to phone — there are no accounts and no servers in the middle.
What we collect
Nothing. Outplay has no servers, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party trackers. We never see your gameplay because it never leaves the devices in the room.
Connecting to play
When you host or join a room, Outplayuses Apple’s local networking to link the phones in the room, over a shared Wi-Fi network or directly between devices. Your display name, avatar and game inputs are shared only with the other players in that room, directly between your devices — not with us.
The app requests permission to use the local network solely so devices can find each other. It never asks for your location or contacts. If you choose a photo as your avatar, you pick it yourself and it stays on your phone and in the room.
Your name and profile
The name, avatar and color you play as are stored locally on your iPhone. Change them any time, or delete the app to remove everything at once. There is nothing on our side to erase.
